Dizin Indoor Athletic Arena (DIA Arena)
Dizin Indoor Athletic Arena (DIA Arena) was a key element in the expansion and enhancement of the Dizin Ski Resort in Tehran. The design concept was grounded in the site’s natural topography, enabling future development while optimising panoramic views of the surrounding ski slopes. The building’s west-to-east orientation was carefully chosen to maximise these views and harness the prevailing winds, ensuring seamless integration with the environment.
ThermaFlow Facade
Utilising a double-skin facade with an intermediate air cavity, this design offers enhanced insulation against extreme temperatures, wind, and noise. The system significantly boosts the building’s thermal efficiency, ensuring comfort in both hot and cold conditions. By introducing a variety of new indoor and outdoor activities, the goal is to transform the existing resort into a dynamic four-season destination, offering a wide array of mountain experiences year-round.

We were appointed to reimagine an existing gym in 2 Chatfield Road that did not meet current UK regulations, reshaping it into a space that is not only compliant but also more intuitive, welcoming, and efficient to use. The layout was carefully reworked to improve access, circulation, and safety throughout. A new entrance sequence introduced a café, treatment room, storage, and administrative area, while the sanitary facilities, changing rooms, and gym floor were all redesigned to better serve users and meet regulatory standards. The result is a more refined and functional environment, supported by detailed drawings and specifications prepared to help the project move forward with local authority approval.
