Ali Salehi

Ali is a Director at Form+Function, a registered architect (ARB, RIBA) with over 11 years of professional experience across residential, commercial, healthcare, and masterplanning developments. Since joining Form+Function, Ali has played a central role in the delivery of several projects, acting as the key liaison between design consultants, technical teams, and project stakeholders.

Ali’s role extends well beyond traditional coordination and project management. He is actively involved in managing the design process across all phases, from concept through to construction, ensuring alignment with programme requirements, budget parameters, and contractual obligations. He works closely with client teams, contractors, and external consultants to oversee design progress, coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, and drive the timely delivery of drawing packages. He also monitors deliverables against project timelines and maintains continuous oversight of workflows, responsibilities, and team outputs.

His architectural and technical background provides a strong foundation for interpreting design intent and translating it into coordinated, buildable solutions. In addition to technical oversight, Ali plays an important role in contract-related tasks, such as tracking scope deliverables, supporting change control processes, and assisting in the review of consultant agreements to ensure responsibilities are clearly defined. He liaises with commercial teams to monitor fee allocations, ensure procurement milestones are met, and flag any financial risks or variations early in the process.

He ensures contract compliance is maintained across design outputs and that financial controls are supported through accurate and timely reporting.
